Jack Bech — Week 3: Active, One Target Wiped Out
2026 NFL Season · Half-PPR Scoring · Monday, Sep 28
Bech has no official target. His one appearance in the play-by-play, an incompletion short middle at the Saints 14 with 0:14 left in the half, was wiped out by a New Orleans unnecessary-roughness penalty, and the drive ended in a field goal. Brock Bowers returned and took 13 targets, in a 35–27 win over the Saints.

13 all, 14 seconds left in the first half, first and 10 at the New Orleans 14. Kirk Cousins threw short middle toward Jack Bech, incomplete. A Saints unnecessary-roughness penalty wiped the play out and moved the ball to the seven, and the drive ended in a 25-yard field goal and a 16-to-13 halftime lead. Because the play did not count, it is not a target, and Bech's official line is empty. That throw is his only appearance in the play-by-play.
What the passing game did: 33 throws, 22 completions, 248 yards and three touchdowns, and the ball went to Brock Bowers 13 times in his first game of the season. Tre Tucker had four; Jalen Nailor, Cody White, Ashton Jeanty and Michael Mayer three each.
Back in June the preview called Bech a watchlist — a second-year receiver banking on a vacated role and a step up from a rookie share of 7.6 percent, with the quarterback question over all of it. Week 1 was four targets, three catches and his first career touchdown. Week 2 was two targets, both before halftime, with Bowers out. Sunday Bowers came back and Bech's official targets went to zero. Three games, six targets. One game with the full room is one game. Las Vegas is home to the Chiefs on Sunday the fourth.
