Garrett Wilson was a small part of the plan against the Dolphins: 3 targets, his fewest this season, 2 catches, 26 yards and +0.36 expected points added (EPA). EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position.

His best catch came down 21-14 to open the fourth quarter: first and 10 at midfield, a deep throw to the right that he took 19 yards to the Miami 31, +1.21 EPA and 4.8 points of win probability, the estimate of each side's chance to win. The drive reached the 1 and ended in a field goal. His other catch went 7 yards on third and 16 before the Jets' missed 40-yard field goal. On the second two-point try after the last touchdown, the throw to him fell incomplete, but pass interference gave the Jets another attempt, and Mason Taylor caught it.

He had been carrying more of it. Through Week 6 he had 35 catches on 48 targets for 418 yards, 3 touchdowns and +24.4 EPA, +0.51 a target; here it was +0.12.
