27 to 24 over the Cardinals, 12 42 left in the fourth quarter, third and four at the New York 22. Jameis Winston threw deep right to Isaiah Likely, 27 yards in the air, and he was brought down at the Arizona 44 after 34. +3.1 expected points added — expected points added is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position — and 7.6 points of win probability, the chance of winning the game after the play against before it. Two snaps later Najee Harris fumbled and Arizona recovered.

The line: 12 targets, seven catches, 66 yards, three first downs, −3.9 expected points on the targets, 112 air yards. Six of the 12 targets came on third down, and the 34 was the only conversion. The costliest was third and 13 from the Giants 23 early in the third, deep right, intercepted by Baker. Arizona scored a touchdown on the drive it set up.

12 targets were 41 percent of Winston's throws. Malik Nabers had seven, Malachi Fields three.

Back in June the preview set the test for Likely: five or more targets a game means a new identity, three means the old one. Weeks 1 through 3 went eight, 10 five. Sunday was 12, the most of his season, and the 34 was his longest catch of it. Four games: 35 targets, 22 catches, a hundred 90 yards, two touchdowns, close to nine targets a game. The volume test is passing; the yardage per target is still low.
