Kimani Vidal produced the Chargers' biggest play against the Broncos: 8 carries, 57 yards, 1 touchdown, +0.3 expected points added (EPA) on the ground. EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position.

The run came with 1:07 left in the third quarter at 10-10. Tuli Tuipulotu had just forced and recovered a Bo Nix fumble at the Denver 42, and on the next snap Vidal ran left tackle 42 yards for the touchdown: +3.6 EPA and +19.1 points of win probability, the Chargers' biggest gain in win probability all day. It put them up 17-10.

That one run carried the line. His success rate was 12%, and his 2 targets brought 1 catch, -1 yard and -1.4 EPA.

The 8 carries were more than the 6 he had across Weeks 1 through 4, when he ran for 31 yards and caught a touchdown.
