Running Back Receiving Efficiency Leaders
Running Back Receiving Efficiency — 2025 NFL leaders, updated Jul 26, 2026. Christian McCaffrey (SF) led all running backs with 39.0 receiving expected points added across 48 qualifying players. Based on verified 2025 play-by-play data (nflverse); Half-PPR scoring.
Receiving work is what separates a two-down back from a every-down back in fantasy, and yards per target is the cleanest way to measure it — it rewards backs who do something with the catch rather than backs who simply get thrown at near the line. Expected points added per reception fills in the rest: whether those catches actually moved the offense.
