Jaxon Smith-Njigba is still first through five weeks at a 0.88 weighted opportunity rating (WOPR), a blend of a receiver's share of his team's targets and of its air yards: 35.2% of the Seahawks' targets and 50.4% of their air yards, after eight targets for 102 yards against the 49ers. Garrett Wilson went from sixth to second at 0.76 after 11 targets for 104 yards against the Browns, and Drake London from ninth to fourth at 0.73 on 11 targets for 118 yards against the Ravens. Mike Evans went from 22nd to seventh on 10 targets, 113 yards and 157 air yards against the Seahawks, and Malik Nabers from 26th to 10th on 20 targets against the Commanders. The other way, Carnell Tate went from second to fifth on five targets against the Texans, CeeDee Lamb from third to sixth on five for 9 yards against the Buccaneers, and Michael Wilson from fourth to 11th on seven against the Lions. The board is the top 30 receivers with 15 targets or more. Ja'Marr Chase, Emeka Egbuka, Christian Watson and Zay Flowers are back, Dontayvion Wicks appears for the first time, and DeVonta Smith, 15th a week ago, is off it after a second straight week without a target. Seven of last week's top ten are still in it; the leader looks settled, and below him one game moved Nabers 16 places.
Week 4
Jaxon Smith-Njigba is still first through four weeks at a 0.90 weighted opportunity rating (WOPR), a blend of a receiver's share of his team's targets and of its air yards: 36.5% of the Seahawks' targets and 49.9% of their air yards. Carnell Tate went from 10th to second at 0.81 after 12 targets and 70% of the Titans' air yards against the Ravens. CeeDee Lamb went from 12th to third at 0.80 on 21 targets against the Texans, and Tee Higgins from 11th to seventh on 16 against the Jaguars. Isaiah Likely went from 28th to 16th on 12 targets against the Cardinals. DeVonta Smith went from second to 15th without a target against the Rams, and Parker Washington from third to eighth on three targets against the Bengals. The floor is 12 targets now: 30 receivers clear it, 25 were ranked both weeks, Mike Evans, T.J. Hockenson and Rome Odunze are new, Tetairoa McMillan and Stefon Diggs are back, and Justin Jefferson is one of five who no longer qualify. Six of last week's top ten are still in it: the leader looks settled, and one game still moves a receiver eight places or more.
Week 3
Jaxon Smith-Njigba is still first through three weeks at a 0.93 weighted opportunity rating, on 38 percent of the Seahawks' targets and 52 percent of their air yards after 14 targets against the Commanders. Michael Wilson went from 24th to eighth at 0.71 on 17 targets against the 49ers, and Josh Downs from 26th to ninth at 0.70 on 62 percent of the Colts' air yards against the Texans. Drake London enters at 14th on 60 percent of the Falcons' air yards against the Packers; Justin Jefferson went from third to 20th on two targets against the Buccaneers. DeVonta Smith went from fourth to second at 0.83 after eight targets against the Bears on Monday night, and Davante Adams from 10th to sixth on 13 targets against the Broncos. The table is 30 deep at a floor of nine targets: 23 were ranked both weeks, 7 are new and 7 are gone, Adonai Mitchell, sixth a week ago, among them. Six of last week's top ten are still in it: the leader looks settled, the order under him does not.
Week 2
Jaxon Smith-Njigba is still first through two weeks at a 1.02 weighted opportunity rating, on 44 percent of the Seahawks' targets and 52 percent of their air yards. Parker Washington went from tenth to second at 0.93 and DeVonta Smith from 20th to fourth at 0.87, both on an air-yards share above 50 percent. Amon-Ra St. Brown is fifth at 0.81 with 27 targets, the most on the board through two weeks. Adonai Mitchell enters at sixth on 58 percent of the Jets' air yards, the highest air-yards share on the board through two weeks, and Davante Adams enters at tenth after Monday night against the Giants. Trey McBride, the only tight end in the top ten, is seventh at 0.78. The board is thirty deep at a floor of six targets and only 19 were ranked both weeks: 11 entered, 11 are gone, among them Puka Nacua, Emeka Egbuka and Jameson Williams, third, fifth and sixth a week ago.
