Screen Pass Rate Leaders
Screen Pass Rate — 2026 NFL leaders, updated Oct 2, 2026. Kansas City Chiefs led the league in screen pass rate at 19.3%, ahead of 31 other qualifying teams. Based on verified play-level charting from FTN Data via nflverse, regular season only. Through Week 3 of the 2026 season.
Screen pass rate is the share of an offense's dropbacks that FTN's charters marked as a screen — a throw behind or at the line to a receiver with blockers set up in front of him. It describes a play-caller's habit, not a result: rank 1 is the offense that throws the most screens, which is not the same thing as the best offense. In season every figure here is season to date, and before Week 4 it rests on two or three games — a gap of a few points between neighbours is noise until the sample grows.
