Rome Odunze made four catches count against the Seahawks: 6 targets, 4 catches, 87 yards and +6.4 expected points added (EPA), +1.07 a target. EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position. Every catch went for at least 18 yards.

Two came on the drive that made it 13-3 before halftime, up 10-3: 18 yards over the middle on second and 5 at the Chicago 30, then, after a direct snap to D'Andre Swift, 24 yards deep left from Caleb Williams on second and 10 at the Chicago 48, +1.8 EPA. Cairo Santos finished it with a 38-yard field goal. Two more opened the third quarter's touchdown drive, up 13-9: 23 yards deep over the middle from the Chicago 31, +1.6 EPA, and 22 yards short over the middle on second and 11 at the Seattle 47, +2.3 EPA and 7.7 points of win probability, the estimate of each side's chance to win. Swift scored from the 1 to finish it. His two incompletions were deep throws in the last 18 seconds of the half.

Per target it was more than twice his season rate. Through Week 7 he had 24 catches on 38 targets for 393 yards, no touchdowns and +16.5 EPA, +0.43 a target. The 87 yards trailed only his 94 in Week 4.
