T.J. Hockenson caught the touchdown that decided Minnesota's 16-10 win over the Colts: 4 catches on 5 targets for 35 yards and +1.4 expected points added (EPA) on his targets. EPA is what a play is worth given down, distance and field position.
Down 10-6 to open the fourth quarter, first and 5 at the Indianapolis 5 after Kyler Murray's 35-yard scramble, he caught a short pass to the left for the touchdown, +1.06 EPA and a 13-10 lead after the extra point. On the next possession, up 13-10 with 11:00 left, he caught a deep pass to the right for 22 yards on second and 10 to the Indianapolis 39, +1.76 EPA; that drive ended in a blocked 59-yard field goal. His one incompletion came on third and 8 at the Indianapolis 10 to open the second quarter, and Minnesota kicked a field goal.
It was his second touchdown of the season. Through Week 5 he had caught 23 of 27 targets for 202 yards and 1 touchdown, at +0.63 EPA per target; here it was +0.28.
