Tre Tucker was steady as a receiver against the Patriots and costly on the ground: 4 catches on 5 targets for 41 yards and +2.0 expected points added (EPA) on his targets, but 2 carries for -6 yards and -1.5 EPA. EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position.

The defining snap came after Las Vegas recovered a fumble. Down 14-7 with 3:19 left in the second quarter, first and 10 at the New England 27, he took a handoff right and lost 11 yards to the 38: -1.6 EPA and -5.6 points of win probability. Facing third and 14 at the 31 two snaps later, a deep throw to him fell incomplete, and the drive came away without points.

His catches went for 10 and 11 yards in the second quarter, 4 to the New England 5 in the fourth, and 16 from Fernando Mendoza late. Through Week 4 he had 15 catches on 23 targets for 233 yards and +8.1 EPA.
