30 to 24, Giants, 14 seconds left, third and four at the New York four. Jacoby Brissett threw short left for Trey McBride, incomplete, with Banks the defender on the play. −1.3 expected points added — expected points added is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position — and −8.7 points of win probability, the chance of winning the game after the play against before it. Arizona called its last timeout, and on fourth down Banks intercepted the throw for Michael Wilson and returned it 98 yards.

The line: 12 targets, seven catches, 31 yards, no first downs, −5.1 expected points on the targets, 70 air yards. The catches went six, −3, two, eight, nine, five and four; the two on third and 10 from the Arizona 17 in the second quarter came eight short. Five incompletions, the first on the game's opening snap, and another on third and two at the Arizona 11 with five minutes left, down three, before a punt.

12 targets were second on the team to Wilson's 13, 34 percent of Brissett's throws. Marvin Harrison had four.

Back in June the preview leaned toward McBride on targets per game, the stickiest stat at the position. That part is holding: 13, 10, 11 12. The yards are not. 31 is his fewest of the four games, and Weeks 1 through 3 carried 12 first downs. Four games: 46 targets, 33 catches, 242 yards, two touchdowns.
