Adonai Mitchell came back into the box score against the Dolphins, his first stat line since Week 2, and all three throws to him fell incomplete: -2.3 expected points added (EPA), what a play was worth given down, distance and field position. All three came in the fourth quarter.

The costliest came down 21-17 with 6:23 left: third and 10 at the Jets' 27, a short throw to the left incomplete, -1.0 EPA and -4.4 points of win probability, the estimate of each side's chance to win. The Jets punted, and Miami scored on its next possession. The other two came on the touchdown drive that followed, the second of them one snap before Mason Taylor's score. He caught the first two-point try, but an illegal shift wiped it out.

In Weeks 1 and 2 he had caught 9 of 15 targets for 123 yards and +8.6 EPA.
