Chris Godwin was Baker Mayfield's most-used target against the Panthers: 4 catches on 5 targets for 27 yards and +1.0 expected points added (EPA) on his targets, in Tampa Bay's 43-13 win at Carolina. EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position. His 5 targets were 45.5% of the team's 11.

Two of his catches set up touchdowns. Up 19-6 in the second, second and 8 at the Carolina 11, he caught a short pass for 7 to the 4, and Bucky Irving scored two snaps later. Late in the half he caught 5 on third and 2 at the 14, then had a 9-yard touchdown wiped out by an illegal shift; Tez Johnson scored on the next snap. In the third, his 9-yard catch on third and 13 set up a 44-yard field goal.

Through Week 6 he had 23 catches on 29 targets for 216 yards, +0.23 EPA a target; here it was +0.20.
