Chris Olave was a smaller part of the Saints' offense against the Giants, but he scored: 7 targets, 4 catches, 43 yards, 1 touchdown, +1.1 expected points added (EPA) on his targets. EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position.

The touchdown came up 27-10 with 11:36 left. Second and 7 at the Giants' 18: Tyler Shough threw deep to the right and Olave caught it for the touchdown, +2.7 EPA, for 34-10. His biggest gain in win probability came earlier, up 17-10 in the third quarter: a 10-yard catch on second and 10 to the Giants' 23, +1.2 EPA and +4.2 points, on the drive Shough finished with a 1-yard touchdown run. He also converted a third and 6 with a 12-yard catch late in the first half.

The misses cost something. Two third-down throws to him fell incomplete, -1.8 and -1.4 EPA.

It was his lowest-yardage game of the season, after 46 in Week 5. Through Week 5 he had 54 targets, 39 catches, 537 yards, 1 touchdown and +38.1 EPA.
