Christian Watson made one big catch against the Lions: 8 targets, 5 catches, 57 yards and +5.0 expected points added (EPA). EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position.

It came down 10-7 with 5:56 left in the half. Fourth and 3 at the Detroit 41: Jordan Love threw deep over the middle and Watson caught it for 28 yards to the 13, +4.4 EPA and 12.6 points of win probability, the estimate of each side's chance to win. The drive ended on a failed fourth down at the 7. His other four catches went for 7, 8, 9 and 5 yards. Early in the fourth, down 17-14, third and 21 at the Green Bay 8, Love threw deep over the middle for him and Brian Branch intercepted.
