D'Andre Swift scored Chicago's only touchdown against the Packers and ran well on a light workload: 9 carries, 43 yards, 1 touchdown, +4.3 expected points added (EPA) on the ground. EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position. He caught 4 of 5 targets for 30 yards.

The defining run came late in the second quarter, down 14-0. Second and 1 at the Green Bay 1, he was stopped for no gain, and a third-down throw to Rome Odunze fell incomplete. On fourth and 1 with 1:56 left in the half, Swift went off left tackle and scored: +2.5 EPA and +4.9 points of win probability, 14-7. Earlier that quarter he converted third and 4 with a 10-yard run and third and 1 with a 12-yarder to the Green Bay 15.

It was well above his baseline. Weeks 1 through 4 he ran 69 times for 311 yards and -7.9 EPA, and 45% of his carries gained positive EPA; on Sunday, 56% did. Nine carries were his fewest of the season, after 18, 16, 20 and 15.
