Price carried 5 times for 15 yards and lost a fumble on the first snap of Seattle's second possession, at its own 22, and Washington scored a touchdown four plays later; it was his second lost fumble in two weeks. He also caught 1 of 3 targets for 7 yards, as Emanuel Wilson led Seattle's backs with 9 carries, in a 33–31 loss to the Commanders.

Nothing to nothing, 11 oh six left in the first quarter, first and 10 at the Seattle 20. Jadarian Price went around left end for two yards, the ball came out at the 22, and Washington recovered at the 21. −5.3 expected points added — expected points added is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position — and −13.8 points of win probability, the chance of winning the game after the play against before it. On both counts it was the second-costliest play of the game, behind only the fourth-quarter interception return. Washington ran four plays, the last a six-yard touchdown catch by Rachaad White, and led seven to nothing.
The line: five carries, 15 yards, no touchdown, one lost fumble, two first downs, two of the five successful, −6.0 expected points on the carries, 5.3 of it on the fumble. The carries went 11, −4, the fumble, seven and nothing. The 11 was Seattle's first play from scrimmage, off left tackle to the Seattle 48. The seven was second and three in the third quarter, pushed out at the 32 for a first down, one snap before Darnold's first interception. His last carry, no gain at the Washington 44, came with eight 58 left in the third. Three carries before halftime for eight yards, two after for seven. Three targets: a deep ball down the right side with a minute 13 left in the half, incomplete; a seven-yard catch in the third quarter; and an incompletion on first and 15 with four 17 left in the game, the snap before the interception that was returned for a touchdown.
Seattle ran 17 designed runs and threw 46 times. Emanuel Wilson had nine of the runs, Price five, George Holani three.
Back in June the preview abstained on Price on purpose: the 30-second pick, a rookie walking into a backfield that had lost Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet, and no way to grade a back who had not played. Week 1 made him the lead back, 10 carries for 52 yards. Week 2 was 13 for 52 and a lost fumble at midfield. Sunday was five carries and another fumble, and for the second straight week Wilson had more carries than he did. Three games: 28 carries, a hundred 19 yards, two lost fumbles. Charbonnet has to miss at least the first four games, per Pro Football Rumors, so the room has not changed; the order inside it changed after Week 1 and held on Sunday. Three games settle little. Seattle is home to the Chargers on Sunday the fourth.
