Jalen Tolbert made the initial 53-man roster Miami announced Sunday, listed first among seven receivers kept, per Grace O'Donnell on the team's official site, and named independently in Shayne Kubas's roster accounting at Phin Phanatic. Last week's episode said cutdown would deliver the direct answer on his roster life, and this is it: he was not cut, waived, released or traded in any reachable reporting, and he appears on none of the team's published cut lists. Terrace Marshall Jr. led Miami's receivers with 49 yards on two catches in Friday's 17-to-12 finale loss to Atlanta, per O'Donnell — and was released two days later. Tolbert caught passes in the same game and is on the initial 53.

The route he took there ran through a gutted room. Tutu Atwell — the receiver last week's episode paired with him, both at roughly half the snaps, both read as roster-uncertain — was traded to the Rams on Thursday, per Adam Schefter's reporting via Sports Illustrated.
