Jameson Williams caught the touchdown that beat the Vikings: 6 targets, 4 catches, 70 yards and +1.0 expected points added (EPA). EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position. His targets swung both ways, and an interception came on one of them.

The touchdown came down 15-12 with 4:40 left. Detroit had run its way from its own 31 to the Minnesota 7, and on first and 7 Jared Goff threw short left and Williams caught it in the end zone: +1.5 EPA and 7.4 points of win probability, the estimate of each side's chance to win. The extra point made it 19-15.

His longest catch was taken back in part. Third and 13 at the Detroit 45 in the first quarter, he caught a deep ball over the middle for 46 yards to the Minnesota 9, +3.9 EPA and 11.5 points, then drew a taunting penalty that moved the ball back 15 yards; the drive ended in a field goal. Down 7-3 in the second quarter, third and 8 at the Detroit 39, a short throw for him was intercepted at the Minnesota 46, -3.3 EPA. In the third, his 3-yard catch on third and 8 left fourth and 5, and Jake Bates hit the upright from 46.

Per target it was below his season. Through Week 7 he had 38 targets, 23 catches, 367 yards, 4 touchdowns and +22.9 EPA, +0.60 a target; here it was +0.17.
