Josh Downs had a quiet day against the Vikings: 2 catches on 4 targets for 18 yards and -0.78 expected points added (EPA), what a play is worth given down, distance and field position, in Indianapolis's 16-10 loss at Minnesota.

His 5-yard catch on third and 4 at the Minnesota 43 kept the opening drive alive, +1.51 EPA, one snap before Jonathan Taylor's 38-yard touchdown. Down 16-10 with 1:34 left, he caught a 13-yarder to the Indianapolis 44, and Daniel Jones was intercepted on the next snap. His two incompletions, on third and 3 in the first quarter and on a deep throw in the fourth, cost -2.54 EPA together.

Through Week 6 he had caught 24 of 42 targets for 289 yards, at +0.29 EPA per target; here it was -0.20.
