Nothing to nothing, 11 12 left in the first quarter, first and 10 at the Giants 12. Jacoby Brissett threw short left to Marvin Harrison for the touchdown, the end of an eight-play opening drive against the Giants. +2.0 expected points added — expected points added is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position. It was his first touchdown of the season.
The line: four targets, one catch, 12 yards, one touchdown, −1.4 expected points on the targets, 43 air yards. The costliest target was second and 13 from the Arizona 35 early in the second quarter, up 14 to six: deep right, intercepted by Newsome at the Giants 32. The other two fell incomplete, one of them first and four at the Giants four in the third quarter, on the drive that ended in Elijah Higgins's touchdown. His biggest play is not in the line: with 27 seconds left, down six, third and six at the Giants 22, a deep throw for him drew pass interference on Banks, 18 yards to the four and 10 points of win probability, the chance of winning the game after the play against before it.
Four targets were 11 percent of Brissett's throws, behind 13 to Michael Wilson and 12 to Trey McBride.
Back in June the preview made no call on Harrison and said the target share was the thing to watch. Four games: 13 targets, five catches, 85 yards, one touchdown, to Wilson's 44 targets and McBride's 46. The share has not climbed.
