Michael Wilson caught 4 of 8 targets for 55 yards against the Broncos, and ran twice for 11, in Arizona's 30-16 loss at home. His targets came to +0.2 expected points added (EPA), what a play was worth given down, distance and field position, roughly break-even.

His most valuable catch came down 20-6 with 5:21 left in the third quarter: third and 7 at the Denver 41, he caught a short pass to the right for 11 yards and a first down, +1.99 EPA. The drive ended in Trey McBride's 7-yard touchdown. Late in the fourth his 16-yard catch on second and 2 drew a face-mask penalty that added 15. Then came the goal line: down 30-16, three of Jacoby Brissett's last throws went to Wilson from the 1 and the 5, and all three fell incomplete, the last on fourth and 5, -2.59 EPA.

Per target it beat his season. Through Week 6 he had 58 targets, 33 catches, 320 yards, 1 touchdown and -6.6 EPA, -0.11 a target; here it was +0.02.
