Quentin Johnston caught everything thrown to him against the Rams: 4 targets, 4 catches, 37 yards and +1.7 expected points added (EPA), in a 24-9 loss. EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position. It was the first game this season he caught every target.

His biggest gains came on scoring drives. Down 3-0 in the first quarter, second and 9 at the Rams 34, his 10-yard catch was worth +1.5 EPA on the way to the first field goal. Down 6-3 in the second, first and 10 at the Chargers 20, he caught a deep throw over the middle for 21 yards, +1.2 EPA, and that drive ended in another. He also made the tackle on both Rams interception returns.

Through Week 6, in five games, he had caught 8 of 22 targets for 165 yards and +4.7 EPA.
