The full read
RJ Harvey touched the ball five times against the Cardinals and one of them put Denver up two scores: 2 catches on 2 targets for 54 yards and a touchdown, worth +3.8 expected points added (EPA), what a play was worth given down, distance and field position. His 3 carries gained 6 yards and came to -0.9 EPA.
The touchdown came up 13-6 with 10:36 left in the third. First and 10 at the Denver 48, Bo Nix threw short left to him 8 yards behind the line of scrimmage, and he ran 60 yards after the catch for the score: +4.49 EPA and 10.9 points of win probability, the estimate of each side's chance to win, and a 20-6 lead after the extra point. His other catch, 2 yards on third and 4 at his own 17 before halftime, came up short, and Denver punted.
The two targets were worth more than his season had been. Through Week 6, in five games, he had caught 23 of 26 targets for 163 yards and +2.3 EPA, and run 21 times for 81 yards and a touchdown.
