Terry McLaurin caught everything thrown his way against the Giants: 4 targets, 4 catches, 62 yards, and the two-point conversion that put Washington up 27-13. He was worth +3.2 expected points added (EPA) on his targets. EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position.
His most valuable catch came in overtime. Tied 27-27 with 1:55 left, first and 10 at the Washington 23, Jayden Daniels threw short left and McLaurin got out of bounds at the 39 after 16 yards: +6.3 points of win probability, the first snap of a drive that reached the Giants 24. Late in regulation, also tied, he had a 22-yard catch over the middle.
The two-point throw came after Daniels' 26-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter, turning 25-13 into 27-13.
Catching all four was the change. Weeks 1 through 3 brought 10 catches on 22 targets for 141 yards, 1 touchdown and +9.0 EPA, with his best day 6 catches for 77 yards against the Seahawks.
