Tory Horton — Week 2: Active in Arizona, No Targets

2026 NFL Season · Half-PPR Scoring · Monday, Sep 21

Horton was active for the first time this season after missing the opener with a hamstring injury, per John Boyle at Seahawks.com, and does not appear in the play-by-play: no target, no carry, no return. Seattle's 26 throws went 11 to Jaxon Smith-Njigba, 6 to Rashid Shaheed and no more than 2 to anyone else, in a 31–7 win over the Cardinals.

Tory Horton was active on Sunday for the first time this season — he missed the opener with a hamstring injury, per John Boyle at Seahawks.com — and the play-by-play does not have him in it. No target, no carry, no return, no penalty. Snap counts are not in the feed this show reads, so that says nothing about how much he was on the field. It says the ball did not go his way.

Where it went: Drew Lock threw 26 times. 11 went to Jaxon Smith-Njigba, six to Rashid Shaheed, two each to Cooper Kupp and Jadarian Price, and one each to five others. After halftime Seattle threw 12 times and ran 25.

Back in June the preview put Horton on the watchlist with a warning attached: five touchdowns on 13 catches in eight games as a rookie before a shin injury ended his year, a scoring rate it called the least repeatable line in the range, on a modest share of the targets. The targets, it said, are the number that matters. His first game back produced none. One game after an injury layoff says little either way. Seattle is at the Commanders on Sunday the 20-seventh.
