20 to six, Seattle, 10 26 left in the third quarter, third and one at the Chargers' six, out of a Seattle timeout. Sam Darnold threw short right to Tory Horton, four yards past the line, and Horton went in for the touchdown. +1.6 expected points added — expected points added is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position. With the kick it was 27 to six. It finished the opening drive of the second half, 68 yards in eight snaps.

The line: one target, one catch, six yards, one touchdown, one of Darnold's 22 throws.

Back in June the preview put Horton on the watchlist with a warning: five touchdowns on 13 catches as a rookie, a scoring rate it called the least repeatable line, and targets as the number that mattered. Week 3 was three targets and three catches for 48 yards. Sunday was one target and the touchdown, the half of it the preview said not to count on. Through four weeks: four targets, four catches, 54 yards, one touchdown.
