Tory Horton was thrown to more than in any game this season against the Bears: 6 targets, 3 catches, 26 yards and +2.6 expected points added (EPA), what a play was worth given down, distance and field position, plus the two-point catch that made it 20-17, in a 34-17 loss at home.
The two-pointer came with 11:46 left, right after Cooper Kupp's touchdown, and cut Chicago's lead to three. His best catch came late in the third, down 20-9: second and 9 at the Chicago 26, Sam Darnold threw short left and he got out of bounds at the 13, +1.2 EPA. On the last drive, down 34-17, he caught an 11-yarder and then a 2-yarder on fourth and 1 at the Chicago 15, +1.6 EPA. Three throws to him fell incomplete, the first on third and 5 on Seattle's opening drive. He also returned 2 punts for 12 yards.
Through Week 7, in four games, he had 5 catches on 10 targets for 67 yards, a touchdown and +0.7 EPA, +0.07 a target; here it was +0.44, and his previous high was 5 targets.
