Tre Harris was a small part of a thin passing day against the Broncos: 4 targets, 2 catches, 16 yards, -0.5 expected points added (EPA), a measure of what a play was worth given down, distance and field position.
His best catch came early in the second quarter, down 7-0. Second and 12 at the Denver 38, he took a short pass to the right 14 yards to the 24: +1.8 EPA. Three snaps later his 2-yard catch on third and 12 left the drive short, and the Chargers kicked for their first points.
It cooled a rising stretch. He had 76 yards in Week 3 and 60 in Week 4, and 209 on 21 targets through four weeks.
