Amon-Ra St. Brown Smashed against the Packers: 11 targets, 9 catches, 153 yards and +8.9 expected points added (EPA), his most yards in any game this season. EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position. Eight of the nine catches went for first downs, and the ninth drew a 12-yard unnecessary-roughness penalty that did the same. He drew 54% of Detroit's air yards.

The biggest came tied 7-7 with 53 seconds left in the first quarter. First and 10 at the Detroit 23, Jared Goff threw deep left and St. Brown caught it for 40 yards before stepping out at the Green Bay 37, +2.3 EPA and 8.9 points of win probability, the estimate of each side's chance to win. The drive ended in a 40-yard field goal. His 28-yarder deep right opened the first touchdown drive, and before halftime he caught four passes for 51 yards on one drive, 18 of them deep left to the Green Bay 12; it ended in Jahmyr Gibbs's fumble. Late in the third a throw for him at the 19 was intercepted, and the defender's pass interference erased it.

The 153 yards were 41% of the 372 he had in his first five games, when he caught 37 of 57 targets with 5 touchdowns and +10.8 EPA, +0.19 a target. Here it was +0.80. His one carry, an end-around, lost a yard.
