Amon-Ra St. Brown caught almost everything thrown his way against the Vikings: 8 targets, 7 catches, 46 yards and +4.2 expected points added (EPA). EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position. A 24-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter was overturned on review, and the play that mattered most was a run.

Down 7-6 with 5:33 left in the third quarter, third and 8 at the Minnesota 40, he took the ball around right end for 10 yards to the 30: +2.0 EPA and 7.6 points of win probability, the estimate of each side's chance to win. Jahmyr Gibbs ran 30 yards for the touchdown on the next snap.

Two of his catches moved the chains on third down. On third and 7 at the Detroit 39 in the first quarter, a 9-yarder over the middle reached the 48, +1.9 EPA, on the drive that ended in Jake Bates's first field goal. On third and 4 from the Detroit 14 in the second, a 5-yarder kept a drive alive. His longest gain was 13 yards, to the Minnesota 33, early in the third.

The value per target beat his season. Through Week 7 he had 68 targets, 46 catches, 525 yards, 5 touchdowns and +19.6 EPA, +0.29 a target; here it was +0.52.
