Antonio Williams did all his work on third down in the fourth quarter against the 49ers: 4 targets, 3 catches, 50 yards and +4.3 expected points added (EPA). EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position.

The biggest came down 23-10 with 9:53 left, third and 8 at the 49ers 41. Jayden Daniels threw short left and Williams got out of bounds at the 18 after 23 yards; a roughing-the-passer flag added 9 more to the 9. That snap was worth +3.3 EPA and 4.4 points of win probability, and Rachaad White caught the touchdown on the next play. Down 23-17 on the next drive, he converted third and 4 with a 10-yard catch to the Washington 38, +1.4 EPA.

The other two framed the finish. On third and 8 at the 49ers 29 with 3:06 left, a deep throw down the middle fell incomplete, -5.8 points of win probability. On the last drive, third and 1 with 37 seconds left, he caught a 17-yarder over the middle to the 49ers 28.

His +4.3 EPA was his most since Week 1. Through Week 5 he had 22 targets, 15 catches, 155 yards, 1 touchdown and +5.0 EPA in five games.
