Cam Skattebo Smashed against the Texans in his first game since Week 5: 17 carries, 124 yards, a touchdown and +3.4 expected points added (EPA), what a play was worth given down, distance and field position. The 124 yards were the most of his season by 43. Seven of the 17 carries (41%) gained positive EPA.

The run that decided it came in overtime. Tied 21-21, second and 1 at the Giants 28 after Houston's three-and-out, he went up the middle for 42 yards to the Houston 30, +2.43 EPA and 28.8 points of win probability, the estimate of each side's chance to win, the biggest swing of the game. Devin Singletary scored from 30 on the next snap. Skattebo's touchdown came earlier, tied 14-14 with 9:03 left in the fourth: first and 10 at the Houston 16, through the right side for the score and a 21-14 lead, +2.12 EPA and 18.9 points of win probability. On that 14-play drive he converted third and 1 twice, with a 19-yard run around the right end and a 2-yard push up the middle. An unnecessary roughness penalty on him cost 13 yards in the first quarter, and his one catch lost 3.

It broke from his season. Through Week 5 he had 81 carries for 294 yards, 1 touchdown and -14.1 EPA, -0.17 a carry, with 36% positive; here it was +0.20.
