20 to six, Seattle, 12 33 left in the third quarter, first and 10 at the Chargers' 28. Sam Darnold threw short middle to Cooper Kupp for 13 yards to the 15. +0.8 expected points added — expected points added is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position. Three snaps later Tory Horton caught the touchdown on third and one.

The line: two targets, one catch, 13 yards, one first down. The other target was second and 11 at the Seattle 36 late in the first half, short right, incomplete, and Seattle punted two snaps later.

Back in June the preview leaned toward Kupp and said to watch his target share against the 16 percent he drew a year ago. Through four games it is 12 of Seattle's hundred 18 throws, about 10 percent, nine catches and a hundred 14 yards, still under that line.
