Cooper Kupp drew his most targets of the season against the Broncos and caught half of them: 10 targets, 5 catches, 50 yards, -0.1 expected points added (EPA) on his targets. EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position.

The defining catch came down 14-11 with 25 seconds left. Second and 10 at the Denver 40: Sam Darnold threw short over the middle and Kupp caught it at the Denver 23, 17 yards, +0.6 EPA and +12.6 points of win probability. Seattle tied it 14-14 with a field goal on that drive. His 8-yard catch on third and 3 on the opening drive was worth +1.5 EPA.

In overtime, on second and 7 at the Seattle 28, a throw to him over the middle fell incomplete; the next snap was Ja'Quan McMillian's interception.

Through Week 5 he had 15 targets, 11 catches, 129 yards, 1 touchdown and +6.8 EPA, with no more than 5 targets in a game.
