Dalton Schultz was busy without moving the chains against the Jaguars: 4 catches on 6 targets, 33 yards, -1.0 expected points added (EPA). EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position.

Three of his catches came on third down and each fell short: 1 yard on third and 8 from the Houston 8 in the first quarter, 7 yards on third and 8 at the Jacksonville 14 in the second, and 9 yards on third and 10 in the third. A first-and-goal throw to him from the 1 with 16 seconds left in the half fell incomplete; Foster Moreau scored on the next snap.

His best catch came up 24-21 late in the third quarter: second and 10 at the Houston 35, 16 yards short right to the Jacksonville 49, +1.7 EPA and +7.0 points of win probability. Jawhar Jordan's 25-yard touchdown run finished that drive.

Through Week 5 he had 31 targets, 24 catches, 244 yards and +9.3 EPA, with 140 of those yards in Week 2.
