Davante Adams saw little volume against the Cardinals but every catch moved the ball: 3 of 4 targets, 39 yards, +3.5 expected points added (EPA) on his targets. EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position.
The biggest came down 12-9 with 4:50 left in the third quarter. Second and 10 at the Rams' 48, Matthew Stafford threw short to the left and Adams took it 16 yards to the Arizona 36, +1.4 EPA and +8.6 points of win probability. That drive ended when Davis Allen was stopped on fourth and 1 at the 27. Adams also converted third and 4 with a 7-yard catch in the second quarter, +1.3 EPA, and caught a 16-yarder down the left side in the fourth.
Through Week 5 he had 45 targets, 27 catches, 441 yards, 4 touchdowns and +18.6 EPA, with 195 yards in Week 2.
