Evan Engram caught everything thrown his way against the Chargers: 4 targets, 4 catches, 55 yards, +1.6 expected points added (EPA). EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position.

The defining catch came in the first quarter at 0-0. Second and 9 at the Los Angeles 39, Bo Nix threw deep left and Engram was pushed out at the 5 after a 34-yard gain: +3.1 EPA and +10.0 points of win probability. J.K. Dobbins ran in from the 2 two snaps later.

His last catch came up short. At 17-17 with 5:46 left, third and 7 at the Los Angeles 7, he caught a short pass and was stopped at the 1: -1.2 EPA. Denver kicked for a 20-17 lead.
