Evan Engram saw two throws against the Seahawks and caught both: 13 yards, +1.3 expected points added (EPA) on his targets. EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position.
The first one mattered. Down 3-0 with 2:32 left in the first quarter, third and 8 at the Seattle 40: Bo Nix threw short to the right and Engram caught it for 9 yards to the 31, +1.8 EPA and +5.9 points of win probability. The drive ended in J.K. Dobbins's touchdown. His other catch was 4 yards on second and 10 late in the first half.
Through Week 5 he had 17 targets, 10 catches, 121 yards, 1 touchdown and +1.7 EPA, with 55 yards on 4 catches in Week 5.
