Holani carried 4 times for 13 yards, all on Seattle's final drive with a 24–7 lead, including two carries from inside the Arizona 3 that gained 2 yards and nothing, and caught one pass for 2 yards. An 11-yard run to the Arizona 4 in the third quarter came back on offsetting penalties. Emanuel Wilson carried 21 times and Jadarian Price 13 in a 31–7 win over the Cardinals.

24 to seven, Seahawks, three 20 left in the fourth quarter, third and eight at the Arizona 13. George Holani went off left tackle for six yards to the seven, two short of the line to gain, and an unnecessary roughness flag on Arizona gave Seattle first and goal at the three anyway. +2.4 expected points added, penalty included — expected points added is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position. He got the next two carries: two yards to the one, then no gain on second and one. Emanuel Wilson was stopped on third down and AJ Barner scored on a direct snap on fourth.
The line: four carries, 13 yards, no first downs by rushing, three of the four successful, +2.2 expected points on the carries; one target, one catch, two yards. The carries went five, six, two and nothing, and all four came on that last drive, the first of them with 10 oh four left in the game. The catch was first and 10 at the Arizona 15 with nine minutes left in the third quarter. The snap before it, he ran 11 yards around left end to the Arizona four, and it came back on offsetting holding penalties. He also made the tackle on the opening kickoff, after a 40-yard return.
The split: Wilson 21 designed runs, Jadarian Price 13, Holani four. In Week 1 it was Price 10, Holani eight, Wilson two.
Back in June the preview put Holani on the watchlist: 22 carries as a deep reserve last year, but the most first-team repetitions of any Seattle back through the spring, in a room that had lost Kenneth Walker to free agency and Zach Charbonnet to a January knee injury. Charbonnet is on the reserve list and has to miss at least the first four games, per Rory Parks at Pro Football Rumors, so the opening the preview described is still open. What has changed is who is next through it. Eight carries to Wilson's two in Week 1 became four to Wilson's 21 on Sunday, with all four coming in the fourth quarter of a decided game. Two games settle little, and the order behind Price has already flipped once. Seattle is at the Commanders on Sunday the 20-seventh.
