14 to seven, Browns, against the Steelers, a minute 25 left in the second quarter, third and goal at the Pittsburgh two. Deshaun Watson threw short right to Harold Fannin for the touchdown. +2.9 expected points added — expected points added is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position. On the snap before, Quinshon Judkins had lost a yard from the one; the kick made it 21 to seven. It was Fannin's third touchdown in two weeks.

The line: five targets, three catches, 27 yards, one touchdown. The 12 came on the last drive, 24 all, first and 15 after a false start, to midfield and out of bounds, 4.2 points of win probability — the chance of winning the game after the play against before it. Both incompletions were in the fourth quarter: second and nine at the Pittsburgh 33 on the field-goal drive, and third and eight from the Cleveland 19, 18 yards in the air, before a punt.

Five targets were fourth on the Browns, behind eight for KC Concepcion and seven each for Denzel Boston and Judkins.

Back in June the preview's case for Fannin was a room that now belonged to him, with the quality of Cleveland's offense as the cap. His targets went three, six and nine over the first three weeks, and Thursday the climb stopped at five. Four games: 23 targets, 17 catches, a hundred 53 yards and three touchdowns, all three in the last two games.
