Patriots 29, Bills 26, 55 seconds left, third and 10 at the New England 19, Buffalo already down to two timeouts. Drake Maye threw short right to Hunter Henry, and he was pushed out at the 31, 12 yards and the first down. TreVeyon Henderson ran once, Buffalo spent its last two timeouts, and Maye knelt twice. +0.5 expected points added — expected points added is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position — a small number on a snap that ended the game.

The line: five targets, five catches, 62 yards, four first downs, +4.2 expected points on the targets. The catches went eight, 20, eight, 14 12. The 20 was first and 10 in the first quarter: Maye put the ball on the ground, picked it up and found Henry, who was pushed out at the Buffalo 36, on the drive that ended in New England's first touchdown. The 14 was the first snap of the go-ahead drive with four 21 left, down 26 to 21, to the New England 41.

The split: Romeo Doubs had nine of Maye's 37 throws, Henry and Rhamondre Stevenson five each.

Back in June the preview made no call on Henry, with the volume an identity and the touchdowns the part likely to fall back. Over the first three weeks he had 10 targets, seven catches and 71 yards, two of those targets in Week 3. Sunday's five catches and 62 yards were his most of the season. Four games: 15 targets, 12 catches, a hundred 33 yards, no touchdowns.
