Jaylen Warren smashed the Colts for his best game of the season: 15 carries, 101 yards and a touchdown on the ground, 6 catches on 6 targets for 87 yards and another score. He was worth +5.1 expected points added (EPA) as a runner and +3.1 as a receiver. EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position.

The defining play came with Pittsburgh down 3-0 in the first quarter. First and 10 at the Steelers 20, 8:57 left: Aaron Rodgers threw short to the right, and Warren took it 80 yards for a touchdown. That was +5.7 EPA and +20.2 points of win probability, the biggest swing of the game.

He broke it open again in the third. At 17-16 with 7:16 left, first and 10 at midfield, he ran through the left guard for a 50-yard touchdown: +4.0 EPA and +12.5 points of win probability. Up 24-22 in the fourth, he converted fourth and 1 at the Indianapolis 22, and the drive ended in a touchdown.

Both scores were his first of the season. Through Week 4 he had 309 rushing yards on 55 carries and +1.5 EPA, with 44% of his carries gaining positive EPA; this week it was 53%. As a receiver he had been at -2.9 EPA on his targets with 143 yards. His catches this week were thrown behind the line, -23 air yards in all, and he gained 110 yards after the catch.
