Nothing to nothing against the Buccaneers, 12 58 left in the first half, fourth and two at the Tampa Bay two, the third fourth down of the drive. Jordan Love threw short right to Matthew Golden for the touchdown. +3.9 expected points added — expected points added is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position — and 11 and a half points of win probability, the chance of winning the game after the play against before it. The first of the three fourth downs had been his too, 10 yards to Tucker Kraft on fourth and one at the 28. 16 plays, nine minutes 16 seconds.
The line: 22 of 30, a hundred 97 yards, two touchdowns, one interception, no sacks, +6.9 expected points on 30 pass plays. 10 of 15 for 65 yards before halftime, 12 of 15 for a hundred 32 after. The second-half opener was his longest completion, 25 yards deep right to Mark Redman, and the drive ended with the second touchdown: second and two at the two, a throw to Kraft ruled incomplete, challenged by Green Bay and reversed. The interception came with four 26 left, up 17 to 14, first and 15 at the Tampa Bay 26 after a false start: deep left for Golden, and Parrish took it at the seven. −3.9 expected points and −21 points of win probability, the biggest swing of the game. On third down he threw seven times, completed three, and converted once, 18 yards to Christian Watson on third and three in the fourth quarter. His four carries for −8 yards are three kneel-downs and a four-yard run.
The ball went seven times each to Golden and Kraft, five to MarShawn Lloyd, three to Watson, two each to Redman and Skyy Moore, and once each to Jonnu Smith, Chris Brooks, Bo Melton and J. Michael Sturdivant.
Back in June the preview made no call on Love and named his September completion rate as the number to watch. It went 50, 55 53 percent in the first three weeks. Sunday was 73. Four games: 87 of a hundred 54, 56 percent, 1041 yards, eight touchdowns, three interceptions. One game does not move the September answer much, but it is the first time this season the rate has been above 60.
