Josh Downs had one big catch against the Steelers and little else: 6 targets, 3 catches, 47 yards, -1.9 expected points added (EPA) on his targets. EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position.

The big one came down 14-6 early in the second quarter. First and 15 at the Indianapolis 24: Daniel Jones threw deep right and Downs caught it at the Pittsburgh 34, 42 yards, +3.1 EPA and +5.9 points of win probability. The drive ended in Tyler Warren's 1-yard touchdown.

The rest went the other way. A third-and-5 catch in the first quarter went for no gain, -1.3 EPA. Down 31-22 with 4:17 left, fourth and 17, a deep throw to him fell incomplete, -2.5 EPA, and Pittsburgh took over.

It broke from his start. Through Week 4 he was at +13.6 EPA on 28 targets, with 202 yards.
