Concepcion caught all six of his targets for 28 yards and one first down, on throws that traveled a combined 12 yards in the air, and lost six yards on his only carry, the second snap of the game. He fair-caught two punts. Six targets tied him for second on the Browns, in a 23–19 win over the Buccaneers.

The second snap of the game was KC Concepcion's worst. Nothing to nothing, 14 18 left in the first quarter, second and one at the Cleveland 42, no huddle: Concepcion took the ball around left end and lost six yards. −1.9 expected points added — expected points added is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position — and second and one became third and seven. Cleveland punted two plays later. One snap earlier he had caught the first pass of the game for nine.
The line: six targets, six catches, 28 yards, one first down, +0.2 expected points on his targets. The catches went nine, nothing, six, nine, six and −2. The six throws traveled 12 yards in the air between them, and three of the six were caught behind the line of scrimmage. The third-down one was third and seven at the Cleveland 28 with three 25 left in the half, six yards, one short, and the fourth and one that followed was stopped for no gain. His first down was nine yards on second and five at the Tampa Bay 39, pushed out at the 30, with six 15 left in the third quarter and Cleveland down 16 to six. Two plays after that he caught six on first and 10 from the 20, then lost two on second and four from the 14, and that drive ended in a 34-yard field goal. One carry for −6. Two punts fielded, both fair catches.
Six targets tied him with Harold Fannin for second on the team behind Denzel Boston's seven. Three of them came among Deshaun Watson's nine first-half throws, more than any other Brown had before halftime, and three among the 21 after it. Seven touches from scrimmage produced 22 yards.
Back in June the preview's frame for Concepcion was a first-round pick, a Hornung Award as the country's most versatile player, and a quarterback question; it called a return job real weekly usage and a target share a hope. Week 1 was a team-high five targets and a lost fumble. Sunday was six more targets, every one caught, and no fumble. Through two games he has 11 targets, tied with Boston for the most on the team, 10 catches and 71 yards. The share is showing up. What it is not yet is downfield: 12 air yards on six targets, on an afternoon Boston's seven carried 60. Two games settle little about either half. Cleveland is home to the Panthers on Sunday the 20-seventh.
