Kyle Pitts had his best game of the season against the Saints, and it was three catches: 3 targets, 3 receptions, 47 yards, +3.7 expected points added (EPA) on his targets. EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position.
The one that mattered came after New Orleans had pulled within 31-17. First and 10 at the Atlanta 28, 12:55 left: a short pass to the left, 3 yards past the line, and Pitts turned it into 28 yards to the New Orleans 44. Three minutes later Jahan Dotson caught a 31-yard touchdown for 38-17.
Weeks 1 through 3 brought 2 catches on 6 targets for 20 yards and -9.7 EPA, so Monday more than doubled his season's yardage. Four games: 9 targets, 5 catches, 67 yards.
