Kyle Pitts caught 2 of his 5 targets for 6 yards against the Buccaneers in a 16-0 loss at Tampa Bay, after scoring in each of his previous three games. His targets were worth -4.9 expected points added (EPA), what a play was worth given down, distance and field position, -0.99 a target. Three of them came on third and 2, and none moved the chains: a deep ball that fell incomplete at the Atlanta 32 in the first quarter, a 1-yard catch at the Atlanta 15 in the third, both followed by punts, and an incompletion at the Tampa Bay 14 with 3:20 left before the fourth-down incompletion that ended the game's last threat.

Through Week 7 he had 20 catches on 27 targets for 191 yards and four touchdowns, at +0.26 EPA a target.
