Luther Burden caught everything thrown his way against the Falcons: 8 targets, 8 catches, 95 yards and +3.1 expected points added (EPA). EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position. More than half the yards, 49, came after the catch.

His biggest catch built Chicago's second touchdown. Up 7-0 with 4:28 left in the first quarter, first and 10 at the Atlanta 43: Caleb Williams threw short to the right and Burden was pushed out at the 18 after 25 yards, +1.9 EPA and +4.0 points of win probability. D'Andre Swift scored from the 4 to make it 14-0.

He kept the third quarter moving, too. Up 21-7, a 22-yard catch deep right took Chicago to the Atlanta 30, +1.5 EPA, and a 9-yarder later on the drive reached the 4, +0.8 EPA. His one costly catch was a 3-yarder on third and 5, -1.4 EPA.

It is a new high for him. Through Week 5 he had 35 targets, 23 catches, 266 yards, 1 touchdown and -1.5 EPA, and had not topped 63 yards in a game.
