Trevor Lawrence threw for a season-high 331 yards against the Eagles and found Parker Washington for both Jacksonville touchdowns: 24 of 39, 2 touchdowns, 1 interception, 2 sacks. He was worth +11.2 expected points added (EPA) on 44 dropbacks, +0.25 per dropback. EPA is what a play was worth given down, distance and field position.

The throw that defined his day came down 14-10 with 3:26 left. Third and 5 at the Philadelphia 27 had just fallen incomplete for Josh Cameron. On fourth and 5, Lawrence threw deep right and Washington caught it for a 27-yard touchdown and a 16-14 lead: +5.2 EPA and +37.2 points of win probability, the biggest swing of the game.

The possession before had ended the other way. A 27-yard throw to Brenton Strange reached the Philadelphia 1, but the drive went backward and ended on fourth and 5 at the 5, incomplete for Jakobi Meyers: -2.8 EPA. Jacksonville ran 13 red-zone plays and scored a touchdown on none of them.

His interception, deep right for Brian Thomas on third and 7 late in the third quarter, went to Quinyon Mitchell: -1.9 EPA.

The rate held while the volume rose. Weeks 1 through 4 brought +31.2 EPA on 114 dropbacks, +0.27 per dropback, and no game above 29 attempts. His completion percentage over expected (CPOE), how often he completed passes against what their difficulty predicted, was -3.3, after +9.5 across those four games.
